ABOUT ME
The 34th generation disciple of the Shaolin Temple was accepted as a Master disciple by Abbot Shi Yongxin in 2007 and was given the Buddhist name Shi Yanquan. He has systematically studied Shaolin culture in the areas of Chan (Zen), Kung Fu, and medicine, gaining a profound understanding of Shaolin Kung Fu.
In 2016, he was entrusted by Abbot Shi Yongxin to represent the Shaolin Temple in Austria and assumed the position of head instructor at the Shaolin Cultural Center in Austria. During this time, he taught Shaolin Quanfa (fist fighting techniques), Shaolin weapons, Shaolin Qigong, Shaolin Rouquan (soft combat techniques), and Shaolin meditation in several European countries, including Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.

The students under the guidance of Master Yanquan have already achieved great success. At the Shaolin Online Games 2020, his students won 59 gold medals. They also excelled at the European Shaolin Games 2023 in Jesolo, Italy, where the Kung Fu students trained by Master Yanquan earned over 30 gold medals and achieved first place in the group performance. Additionally, three of his students qualified for the Shaolin World Games 2024 in China and ranked among the top 30. One female student even made it to the finals at the Shaolin Temple and placed among the top 10, receiving a Shaolin Star award. These achievements were made possible thanks to the master’s years of experience in Shaolin training and his dedication to passing on the knowledge of Shaolin culture. Master Yanquan’s training focuses especially on the personal development of each student, which he supports with great commitment.
